Willemstad is a beautiful fortified town in the north west of the province
Brabant. It was named after William of Orange. His son Maurits built a hunting lodge in the city, now called the Mauritshuis.
It was built in a lovely dutch renaissance style with elegant, typical ornaments. The house is a museum now that
can be visited.
